Flying Lesson March-22-2012

Today I have decided I like the 172. It just took some getting used to the handling characteristics. According to my flight instructor I'm having trouble with my flare because I'm not an aggressive enough pilot. We did some climbs and descents and hoodwork since we were already up there. I am having trouble flaring, I either overflare or I don't flare enough. My flight instructor says I will pick it up in time.

Practicing S turns and turns around a point then made 2 T&G's and called it a day. I'm still not sure if I like this airplane as well as the 152. It's a little more difficult to handle.

Flying Lesson March-9-2012

A new aircraft!! A Cessna 172! This is a big 4 passenger that I will be doing a lot of flying in. The 152 has gotten a little ill, meaning its making metal in the engine so it's temporarily out of service! But in the mean time I'm really excited about this new airplane. Today we went up for an hour and then did 2 T&G's to get familiar with the aircraft. A few things I noted was the increase in performance and smoother ride.
